An Economy that Works for Iowans

The cost of gas and groceries is still too high for working families. We need to lower costs while creating good-paying jobs everywhere: especially in our small towns and rural communities. Jobs like factory work, manufacturing, building trades, and more should be able to support a family.

Protecting Social Security and Medicare

We need to protect Social Security and Medicare so that our seniors can afford the increasing cost of living and retire with dignity. This is a no-brainer. Folks who paid into this system should not have to fight for what they earned.

Standing up for reproductive rights

Women should be able to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions without government interference. In Congress, I will do everything in my power to stop a national abortion ban, and work to codify the protections of Roe v Wade into law.

Fighting for small towns and rural communities

Our small towns and rural communities have been left behind for far too long. Iowans should not have to travel several hours to access routine health care or find a good-paying job.

We need to expand economic development in our small towns and rural communities, and, more specifically, support our family farms and small businesses.

Bringing Iowans Together

Our country is incredibly polarized and divided. People are moving apart, and folks are fiercely divided into their political camps. We have to find a way to bring our country back together so that we can rebuild our communities, protect our democracy, and get things done.

This starts with our leadership. We need to elect folks that will work relentlessly to serve their communities and get things done.
